AUS was contracted to perform underwater video inspection on the remote island of Sheyma. The inspection included but not limited to, remote operated vehicle inspection of the dock facility, sonar mapping of damage and debris fields. AUS mobilized a Seaeye Falcon ROV system, Kongsberg multibeam system, echo sounder and inflatable work boat to perform the service. The Falcon ROV provided spot cleaning and inspection of steel pile for thickness testing. A bathymetric survey was conducted on the approach channel, breakwater and dock mooring area. Weather windows were utilized in Sheyma to accomplish all tasks required for the deliverables of the inspection.
